NEW CABINET! M7 Appoints Dr. Sam Mayanja As Attorney General Replacing Kiryowa Kiwanuka, Drops Nankabirwa, Anite, Gen. David Muhoozi…

President Museveni has appointed Dr. Sam Mayanja as the New Attorney General replacing Kiryowa Kiwanuka.

Dr. Mayanja who is a senior partner and co-founder of the famous Kampala Associated Advocates (KAA) has been the State Minister for Lands where he has done a tremendous job in curbing land grabbing and fighting for the rights of bibanja owners against heartless landlords.

In the cabinet list released this evening through his x handle, the president dropped Ruth Nankabirwa, Evelyn Anite and Gen. David Muhgoozi among others from cabinet. The President also appointed Balaam Barugahara as Minister of Local Government and Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde as Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development.
