This website can exclusive report that last Thursday, Zahara Luyirika the contestant for National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket for Kampala district woman legislator together with her family drove to Magere to have a private meeting with Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi wife to presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine)
Sources close to Luyirika the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Council told this website that she has been pushing for the said meeting to defend herself on allegation that she is involved in a love relation with Bobi Wine and it is the reason why the principal always favours her.
“Before those allegations gathered steam, Barbie was a friend to Luyirika and they always interacted on their social media platforms. But the recent rumours have created a sharp divide within the two NUP ladies,” a source said
Sources divulged that when Barbie accepted the meeting, Luyirika went with her mother and other trusted family members. In the meeting, she assured her that she was not favoured by her husband and Bobi Wine was not involved in the decision she made to abandon plans to contest as MP for Makindye West and shift to Kampala district.

Sources claim that Luyirika and Barbie buried their grievances after the meeting and agreed to support each other which scared many supporters of the incumbent Shamim Malende.
Malende’s supporters are fearful that the said meeting is likely to cost them in their fight to retain the NUP party ticket since they have been relying on Barbie to support their candidature before NUP’s Deep State meetings.
When contacted, Luyirika told this website that she decided not to defend herself concerning allegations that have been making rounds concerning her secret dealings with some of the powerful men in the country.
She added that she realized that her political opponents are using the allegations as a weapon to portray her as a woman who snatches married men and plays ping pong with different men.
