Ono Bwino can exclusively report that People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) Secretary General and also a former Kira Municipality legislator Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda has placed his multibillion Bukasa home and other properties on the market.

Highly placed sources close to Ssemujju told Ono Bwino that he has already instructed city property dealers to look for the buyer of his property at Bukasa which sits on more than one acre of land in Kira Municipality Wakiso district.

Ssemujju changed the design of his Bukasa house when he joined parliament in 2011 as Kyadondo East Member of Parliament and since then, he has been modernising it to fit his status as a legislator.

Sources unveiled that property dealers are marketing the house between Shs1bn to 1.5bn and potential buyers have already started inspecting it.

It is not clear whether even the community mosque which is part of his fence is also part of the property for sale.

“I don’t think Ssemujju will sell the mosque. He is a true Muslim and he was the one who lobbied Muslims from Saudi Arabia to build it. I heard that he sold to them that piece of the land on which it seats and he separated that piece from the land title where the mosque sits and gave it to the Muslim community,” a source said.

Sources said that Ssemujju is planning to relocate his family which was staying in the said house to his new home in Mukono North where he also established a huge farm and garden.

Another property which Ssemujju is allegedly selling is his Bweyogerere commercial building which he bought from the family of Tamale Konde a former CBS radio presenter who relocated to United States of America with his family.

Sources claim that Ssemujju is one of the richest politicians in Buganda and owns a lot of properties in Kampala metropolitan districts, in greater Masaka districts and abroad.

Ssemujju is set to use the money from the sale of his properties to settle in exile where he ran to upon learning that he was a target after being implicated in former speaker of parliament Annet Anita Among corruption scandals at parliament.

He is also implicated in the alleged assassination plan on President Museveni which state claims was spearheaded by opposition strongman Dr Kizza Besigye who was kidnapped from Nairobi Kenya in 2024 and is still in prison.

Efforts are underway for Ssemujju’s wife Faridah Ssemujju to also join him in exile. During his campaigns, Ssemujju told voters that he is scared of going to prison and leaving his beautiful wife for other men to enjoy her.

Even though the couple has six children, Ssemujju boasted that Faridah is still young yet they have built a strong bond since he was the one who paid her tuition at Makerere university and established a business for her in Kampala business district.
