Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s longtime spokesperson Omutaka Dick Kasolo is very sick.
A close family member revealed to Ono Bwino that for weeks, Kasolo has been receiving treatment from his personal medics from his Bunamwaya home but a decision was made for him to be admitted to a major hospital for more medical attentions.
The family member said that Kasolo has been suffering from a number of illnesses including diabetes, High Blood Pressure and the situation worsened recently and his immediate bosses at Bulange building which is the headquarters of Buganda Kingdom administration advised him to get some rest.
Currently Gerald Mulindwa, the official photographer of Peter Mayiga the Kingdom premier and a one Shafick Miiro are took over Kasolo’s assignment in the office of the kingdom’s minister in charge of Information and mobilization.

Kasolo recently told this website that his office of Kabaka’s spokesperson was put under the office of the minister in charge of information and mobilization and he was assigned to head the mobilization desk.
Since the restoration of Buganda Kingdom in 1993, Kasolo has been Kabaka Mutebi’s spokesperson and sources said that on several occasions, he has been allowed to attend his Kingdom high level meetings especially when serious decisions are being made
Previously before placed under Owekitiibwa Isreal Kazibwe Kitooke the kingdom minister in charge of information and mobilization, Kasolo was the one responsible for delivering Kabaka’s messages to media houses and handling the media at Kabaka’s functions.
Sources said that veteran lawyer John Katende who is also a close friend to Kabaka Mutebi is taking care of buying medicine and other necessities so that Kasolo recovers.
