Gen Salim Saleh the Operation Wealth Creation coordinator and also a young brother to president Museveni has set tough conditions to mediate the fights among Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC) bosses.
Ono Bwino can exclusively report that last week, former Kasanda South Member of Parliament and also UHRC Commissioner Simeo Nsubuga led his fellow Commissioners to a meeting with Gen Saleh at his Kapeeka country home where they pleaded with him to lead efforts to reconcile them with their chairperson Mariam Wangadya.
Highly placed sources said that Gen Saleh told them that he will only give them audience and accept or decline to lead the mediation efforts once they come to him as a team together with their chairperson.
Ono Bwino has learnt that Nsubuga has reach out to Wangadya through her closest people to try to convince her to accept the deal to meet Gen Saleh and have their misunderstandings resolved.

However, this websites has been told that Wangadya is still furious and she is not ready to meet Simeo and his ally commissioners face to face claiming that they subjected her to media harassment and blackmail which included accusing her of being corrupt and incompetent which forced her to make mistakes including using undermining statements that angered the appointing authority President Museveni.
Sources said that Simeo and his allies are desperate for mediation after learning that Wangadya held a private meeting with President Museveni who declined to accept her notice of resignation and directed her to continue presiding over the Commission’s leadership.
Ono Bwino has further learnt that a number of Commissioners are on the run and no longer go to the Commission headquarters at JLOS building Naguru after learning that money lenders have camped there to arrest them.
This reporter understands that two commissioners in the 2026 parliamentary elections borrowed a lot of money from money lenders which they used in their political campaigns thinking that they will use parliament salary to pay back but they were defeated.
Simeo, Steven Mwesige Basaliza, Jacklet Atuhaire petitioned President Museveni accusing Wangadya of being Corrupt together with her blue-eyed boy Crispin Kaheru.
Wangadya also petitioned the President accusing Simeo and his allies of involving in sexual harassment vices and sources divulged to this website that the president is still investigating all the allegations.
