Yasin Ssentumbwe, lawyer to human rights activist Male Mabirizi has confirmed the arrest of his client Male Mabirizi.
Ssentumbwe told Ono Bwino that Mabirizi was arrested around Mulago near pastor Kakande’s church and he iss currently detained at Kampala Central Police station.
He said that the police officers they found at the police station told him that they were just ordered to keep him and didn’t give him any reason why he was arrested.
Mabirizi spent eighteen months serving a prison sentence slapped on him by the then high court judge Musa Ssekaana on contempt of court.
