Embattled Bukomansimbi North legislator Dr. Christine Ndiwalana is on the spot for betraying Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu(Bobi Wine) the National Unity Platform(NUP) president and sealing several political deals with president Museveni’s younger brother and also the coordinator of the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) Gen Salim Saleh to save his political office.
According to Fred Kalema Pax, the Deputy Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for Bukomansimbi district, Gen Saleh recently summoned him at his Gulu country home and tasked him to explain why he is fighting Ndiwalana who is a good opposition member.
“I admitted before the General (Saleh) that it is true I’m fighting Ndiwalana and that our fight is not personal but political because she uses abusive language against President Museveni and other government officials and is mobilizing the masses in the district to fight the National Resistance Movement (NRM),” Kalema said.
He added that the General first rubbished his explanation accusing him of being a liar.

He pleaded with Saleh to allow him to the opportunity to bring him witnesses and evidence in audio and video to prove his case.
Kalema narrated that the General made several phone calls and ordered him to go back to Bukomansimbi.
He was told that Ndiwalana was later seen boasting among her supporters that Kalema was going to be transferred from Bukomansimbi to another district because he has overstayed in their district.
“I sit on the district security committee so I know who Ndiwalana talks to. I was very aware that she is in good relationship with Gen Saleh,” he said.
He added, “he is the one who saved her from being dismissed from parliament by Court since she doesn’t have the required academic papers. The High Court judge declared that she did not have the required papers, but when she met Gen Saleh, the decision was overturned by the Court of Appeal which shocked all of us,” Kalema added.
However, when contacted, Ndiwalana denied all the allegations insisting that Kalema is being used by her political opponents to fight her because she is a strong political mobilizer for Bobi Wine and NUP.
She further accused Kalema of being a coffee, animals and food thief insisting that he is using his office to shield criminality in Bukomansimbi adding that he was behind the mob who wanted to kill her last week at the funeral.
She narrated that Kalema hired goons with instructions to finish her, claiming that she didn’t help the family of the young man who was knocked and killed by her speeding ambulance.
Ndiwalana is not the first NUP legislator to be accused of having political dealings with Gen Saleh, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba the Commandant of the UPDF recently revealed that they funded Bobi Wine a claim Bobi Wine trashed.
