Ono Bwino can exclusively report that Ivan Majambere Kamuntu the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Lubaga District chairperson will soon face criminal prosecution for mismanaging President Museveni’s Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga money allocated to fight poverty among Ugandans.
While he was campaigning in Lubaga South at Kitebi Primary School on Tuesday, President Museveni directed his State House Investigators to get the details of the youths who complained on the microphone that the billions of monies he sent to them for their development was mismanaged by Kamuntu and his eleven members who sit on the PDM leadership committee in the area.
One of the youths told Museveni that Majambere and his group mobilized them to register themselves so as to benefit from the government money and they were even trained but when time to get money came, they told them to wait until they got information that the money was eaten by Majambere and his group.
This reporter witnessed State House investigators recording statements from the two youths who pinned Majambere and other PDM leaders on the committee. After, Majambere was also summoned and he was asked to give the detectives all the names of the people on his committee and their details.

“But you should also be on standby because very soon we are going to summon you. Please pick our calls because this is a presidential directive, we don’t want to look for you ourselves,” one of the detectives told Majambere as he struggled to defend himself.
Museveni admitted that there are people who intervene and mislead when his team is investigating corruption among government officials. He asked the people to help him and provide evidence to him so directly so that he can use it to prosecute the suspects in Court.
Museveni also asked the people of Lubaga to vote NRM candidates explaining that the reason why he is not getting information concerning government officials eating money he sends to fight poverty among them is because of the opposition people who they vote into offices of leadership who don’t want to interact with him over the issues affecting their areas.
Museveni was supported by speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among who told voters that since their current legislator joined parliament in 2021, he has never spoken a serious word on the floor of parliament and he is only using parliament salary to enrich himself.
When contacted over the allegations of mismanages the PDM and Emyooga money, Majambere denied insisting that people were given money. He accused former NRM Lubaga district chairperson Abdallah Kitatta of being behind the people who embarrassed him before the President.
He vowed to himself when summoned by State House detectives.
