Ono Bwino can exclusively report that the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) is moving to prosecute fugitive land dealer Muhammad Kamoga in absentia after efforts to arrest him failed.
Since September 2025, Entebbe Grade One Magistrate Edgar Tusiime has been extending arrest warrants against Kamoga who has been jumping court bail which was granted to him after being charged with criminal offences related to forgery and receiving money by false pretense
According to court documents, State alleges that Kamoga falsified documents involving Lawyer Lorna Nkamwesiga to transfer ownership of land in Busiro Block 435 situated Garuga in Wakiso district.
On several occasions, Kamoga has been surviving arrest by security including when he was surrounded in a shrine in Mubende District where he had went to secure spiritual intervention to stabilize his the troubling situations but he survived by a whisker.
Kamoga’s wife also survived arrest by security from Bukaya Cell, Garuga in Katabi Town Council in Wakiso district when she was trying to execute her husband’s orders of selling one of his plots in the area.
State has moved to prosecute Kamoga in the absentia after his two sureties who stood for him when he was being released on court bail paid Shs10m to be discharged from holding the responsibility of standing surety for Kamoga who violated the court bail terms and ran away.
