This website has establishes that John Bosco Ssenoga the proprietor of the La Grand Hotel has been placed on the wall by Ssenyonga who is allegedly forcing him to selloff his hotel to him because he wants to expand his empire and control the neighborhood.

“The environment Ssenyonga created for us is very disturbing because when our boss (Ssenoga) refused to take his offer of buying his hotel, he decided to use his church to fight him and make sure that he sells the hotel forcefully to him. He extended his church audio microphones to the hotel guestrooms and they spend the entire time praying loudly. If they are not praying, they make sure that they play loud gospel music which disturbs our customers who hire our services to rest,” a source working at La Grand Hotel said.

He added that this situation is sending their business into making losses.

The source added that because of Ssenyonga’s antics, Ssenoga agreed to enter negotiations with the controversial pastor. However, he was shocked when the pastor offered only Shs4bn to buy his hotel and assured him that no one is going to give him the Shs7bn he was asking for.

“He did it intentionally because he knows very well that with the noise from his church, no one can invest his money in a hospitality place where his customers will not get enough rest. The loud noise will always chase them away. So this makes him the only person who can buy the place,” the source said.

One of the managers running Ssenyonga’s businesses told this investigative website that Ssenyonga wants to transfer his media outlets which include top radio and top television to La Grand Hotel and also have some rooms for his important visitors who travel from abroad or from upcountry to visit him so that he stops spending a lot of money on their accommodation.

Sources close to Ssenyonga said that he is very experienced in using mafia tricks to buy property revealing how he even tried to frustrate pastor Samuel Kakande of the Synagogue church.

“When he learnt that pastor Kakande was negotiating to buy a building near his church to get enough space, Ssenyonga reached out to the owner of the building and gave him a lot of money which Kakande was not willing to spend. Now the building there has faded but his plan was to frustrate Kakande,” a source said.

However, this website has established that staff employed by pastor Ssenyonga’s companies are closely monitoring the development and plan to state a riot to force him to pay their monthly salaries which he takes long to pay.

“This is the seventh month of him not paying our money. Whenever we complain, he claims that he doesn’t have money, where is he going to get the Shs4bn to buy the hotel?” one of Ssenyonga’s staff asked.

Ssenyonga is one of the radio and television proprietors known for not paying their workers and a number of them have left after the man of God failed to pay them.

This website made several efforts for two weeks to talk to the Pastor Ssenyonga over the matter but he did not pick our calls and even refused to respond to our text messages. One of his assistants confirmed to us that his boss was very busy.
