Jordan Ssebuliba Kiwanuka has been appointed by his lineal family members to manage his father Mohan Musisi Kiwanuka’s multibillion empire as directed by the three justices of the Court of Appeal last month.

In the execution report seen by this website filed at the Court of Appeal Registry,  Ssebuliba confirmed to Court that he has executed the orders of the court stating that he held two meetings which took place on 14th and 19th of June 2025 and were attended by the majority of family members.

According to the report, the meeting was attended by Beatrice Kavuma Luyiga Kiwanuka (the first wife to the tycoon), Riad Batanda Kiwanuka, Dean Adan Kiwanuka, Jordan Kiwanuka, Jenina Nusula Kiwanuka, Jordana Kiwanuka.

Kiwanuka explained to the Court that just as Court directed them to convene a meeting, he wrote to the two wives and their children to attend the meeting and the majority attended.

“The Court and all stakeholders are hereby notified that the majority of the lineal family members of the Respondent Mohan Musisi Kiwanuka have on the 19th day of June 2025 in compliance with Paragraph 218 Order (V) of Civil Appeal N0; 61/2020 from the Court of Appeal Judgement issued on the 30th day of May 2025, unanimously appointed Ssebuliba Jordan Kiwanuka as the manager of the Estate for the Respondent Mohan Musisi Kiwanuka, effective day of 19th June 2025,” the report reads in part.

Exclusively, this website reported that former finance minister in president Museveni’s government, who is also the second wife to tycoon Maria Kiwanuka and her children didn’t attend the meeting which executed the orders of the Court of Appeal.

As Ssebuliba and her mother and siblings were executing the judgement, Maria, her lawyers and children were fighting to secure the Supreme Court Order staying the execution of the Court of Appeal which they failed to secure and only filed a notice of appeal.

After the family’s move to appoint a new manager to run the multibillion empire, this website has established that a number of workers especially those working at Radio One and Akaboozi Kubiiri who have been close friends to Maria as a General Manager are panicking because they don’t know what next.

“That man is going to come with his new management styles, we are seriously scared because we know that some of us, being friends to Maria, he may want to take revenge on us and we end up losing our jobs,” one of the presenters on radio said.

Kiwanuka is one of the biggest landlords in Kampala’s expensive Kololo Hill, Nakasero and other parts of the city.

Court directed that since he is not mentally fine, his estate must be put under the management of another person and his son was appointed.

The decision comes after Maria and her lawyers led by Francis Buwule put up a spirited legal fight insisting that the celebrated businessman is mentally okay and can manage his estate until he is placed on oath and admits that he is not mentally okay to manage his estate.
