Ono Bwino can exclusively report that few weeks back, security raided the homes of Ali Moses the personal medical doctor to the National Unity Platform (NUP) principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) as investigations into his escape from his Magere home and out of the country intensifies.

Highly placed security sources told Ono Bwino that the raid and search at Moses’ home was made in all his three homes all situated in Wakiso district while himself and his other family members were interrogated on how Bobi Wine escaped from the country.

Sources said that Moses who contested as Kyadondo East Member of Parliament went into hiding after learning that he was placed under security surveillance and security used his personal driver to locate him, interrogated him and search his home in his presence.

The development comes as Sharif Najja Ssenyonjo a Personal Assistant to Bobi Wine is crying for the release of his wife Fauzia Natambi claiming that he was arrested by security two months back.

He dragged the Attorney General, the Chief of Defence Forces and the Inspector General of police to Court seeking a court order directing them to produce his wife dead of alive but all the accused officers denied knowledge of Natambi’s whereabouts.

Last month, Bobi Wine confirmed that he is out of the country after claiming that security bosses were instrumental in helping him to escape.

He added that his life was in danger since President Museveni’s government wanted him to be arrested and charged with fabricated political related criminal charges.

Veteran journalist Andrew Mwenda claims that after the 2026 presidential election, Bobi Wine went into hiding but intelligence located him where he was and the president was briefed but he directed that he should not be arrested.

Sources insist that Bobi Wine’s political party is in talks with government on the said criminal charges and his comeback into the country but insiders claim that Bobi Wine and his family members will only come back into the country and access their Magere home in May after President Museveni is sworn-in.
