Richard Ssebamala the Bukoto Central Member of Parliament (MP) elect on the Democratic Party (DP) ticket has warned supporters of Annet Anita Among to be on standby claiming that his immediate competitor Norbert Mao is highly likely to run away with the voting materials on the day the 12th parliament will vote their speaker and deputy.
Sebamala claims that Mao is a shameless politician who can even do the impossible to win an election.
He narrated how he displayed his ruthlessness in Mbarara during the DP delegates conference when he ran away with voting materials to survive defeat.
Even though Mao is the DP president general, Ssebamala declared that he will not vote for him as the speaker of parliament insisting that he lacks integrity to head the third arm of government.

Ssebamala joins Mao’s national vice president Fred Mukasa Mbidde who has already declared his support for Among and accused Mao of selfishness adding that he lacks the capacity and the numbers to defeat Among who commands the National Resistance Movement support.
However, Mao insists that his competitors are the ones facilitating internal attacks inside DP. He boasted that he is going to surprise them by winning because most of the previous elections where he has contested and won, he has always been taken as the underdog.
