National Unity Platform (NUP) lawyer who is currently vying to be the Kira Municipality Member of Parliament George Musisi is threatening to take legal action against pastor Jackson Ssenyonga’s top radio over defamation.
Musisi confirmed to this website that he has already instructed his lawyers to take legal action against the radio as a medium of communication, its morning show presenters Richard Kasule (Kamagu), his co-host Richard Lubwama and Aligawesa Muwonge (Omudingiddi) as the only alternative to pay for their character assassination on his reputation as a lawyer and leader in the country.
Musisi claims that since he announced his decision to contest in Kira Municipality, every day, from Monday to Friday, Kamagu and group have been using their radio to tell lies that he is a foreigner in the area and thus they have been urging voters not to voter for him in the coming parliamentary elections.
He added that Kamagu has been telling his millions of listeners that Musisi is a fake lawyer who has no money to facilitate his political campaigns. They further allege that it is his opponent Jimmy Lukwago who helped him to pay for his few posters he placed in the area.

Through his airwaves, Kamagu is accused of announcing fake polls claiming that he gathered them from the ground showing that the incumbent Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda is leading the race with 80%.
Musisi claims that on several occasions, he has been warning Kamagu to stop misusing his slot at top radio to settle political scores. He boasted that he is a strong personality who doesn’t fear being arrested or charged in the courts of law.
“Dean Lubowa Ssaava, a journalist with TV10 has also severally been accussed of using his media house to attack innocent people with fake information and blackmail them as Kamagu is doing because he is paid. But when the long arm of the law reacheed him, all the people who were paying him to tarnish peoples’ names ran away. He is now rotting alone in prison. So Kamagu should also learn from Ssaava otherwise no one is above the law,” Musisi said.
However, using the same morning show, Kamagu assured Musisi whom he branded as an idiot that he cannot be threatened by him or any other person.
He boasted that if Musisi is sure that he understands the law, let him sue him. He is ready to expose him as he exposed others who dared him.
Responding to the allegations, Jimmy Lukwago also threatened to instruct his lawyers to counter Musisi saying that he decided to leave him instead of standing as an independent even though he had evidence that Musisi cheated him and the ticket was given to him because of his friendship with members of the party top leadership.
“I have a command here, I’m a lion here. I can command my voters and make sure that Musisi loses this election miserably, I can do it if he doesn’t stop dragging me in his cheap political talks,” Lukwago said.
