President Museveni’s Special Presidential Assistant on Service Delivery Yiga Kisakyamukama has asked the concerned officers with authority with immediate effect to arrest judge Emmanuel Baguma of the Criminal Division of the High Court for issuing Summons against the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
He explained that the move will put sense in other people that in Uganda there are people and families who place their life on the line for the good of the country and should be respected.
“Truth be told Gen Muhoozi has done a lot for this country, how can you joke with him to that extent of issuing summons as if you are summoning a taxi driver. He will never at whatever cost be a taxi driver and if I was the one with power, I would have ordered the arrest of that judge, and added him to Lukwago by throwing him in prison with immediate effect,” Yiga said.
Appearing on minister Balaam Bagaruhare’s radio4, Yiga added that the abduction of the former Kampala Lord Mayor Ssalongo Erias Lukwago and his being charged is going to teach all opposition leaders including those in government like Gen Kahinda Otafire a lesson to stop undermining Gen Muhoozi and understand that he has everything it takes to silence them but he sometimes just takes things easy and ignores them when he is publicly attacked.

He claimed that Muhoozi through his Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), a civic organization, has built all the necessary systems to run government noting that people should not be shocked when he takes over power before the end this term.
“People are really not serious, do you know why I didn’t join PLU? It’s because I know Gen Muhoozi. He has no friends, he will even arrest all those people close to him, that is why for me I stick to President Museveni,” Yiga said.
One of Lukwago’s lawyers Medard Lubega Ssegona upheld that his client was abducted from his Wakaliga home on Monday because he was planning personally to go and serve Gen Muhoozi court summons issued by Justice Baguma which required him to file his defence in the case where opposition strongman Dr Kizza Besigye and his political assistant Haji Obed Kamulegeya Lutale accuse him of violating their human rights through use of his social media platforms to threaten that he was going to kill them.
Gen Muhoozi assured everyone who wishes to serve him court documents that they will be arrested. He contended that Besigye will not survive because he was planning to kill his father, President Museveni.
